The relaxed vibe of this Five Dock backyard retreat was created by A Total Concept and includes swimming pool, entertaining deck and gardens of this Sydney property.
The brightly coloured tiles used in the geometric-shaped swimming pool contrast beautifully with the blonde sandstone paving of the external paved areas, while the timber poolside seating and filter box floor is a perfect match for the decking of the main entertaining area.
A feature of the project is the stepping stone walkway through lawn to create a visual link from pool to covered entertaining area.
The entertaining area is covered with a retractable awning allowing the space to be used in all weather.
The hard components of this architectural design of this backyard retreat were designed to be simplistic and understated to create a wholistic blend softened with the dappled and shaded greens of the gardens and lawns. The gardens were designed and planted simply with Bamboo, agave and Lillipilly.
